Hilton Head Island Pet Friendly Vacation Rentals

Many places on the island do not allow dogs on the premises, especially resorts and small room rentals. Of course, there are exceptions, like Mount Palmetto. While your dogs may not be allowed during the height of the season, they are most welcome during the off-season, October through April. Where you can take your dog, there are weekly vacation rentals available through rental companies, such as beach vacations and sunset rentals. Many rental companies offer advice and options on the types of homes you should rent. They are plentiful to choose from, but try to keep in mind that vacation homes that allow dogs, especially large dogs, can be difficult to find until June, July and August. So call and plan ahead!
