First, a little background on how we became new pet parents. A few years ago, when COVID suddenly took hold of our lives and the first shutdown began, my husband and I joined a community of pet lovers to help feed independent dogs on the streets. This is how we found a group of cute puppies that were lost in the park without their mother. They were only a few weeks old, and we took turns feeding them. One of them was a strong and playful puppy, and one of our friends immediately named him Raju because that was her favorite name for any dog.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck and apparently when he was only six months old he was beaten by some hooligans in the middle of the night and his spine was broken. Finally one of them agreed to the operation and we brought him home with the hope that one day he will be able to walk and run like a normal dog. But two years later, although he can stand and walk a little, he is still semi-paralyzed and incontinent, but he runs with the wheelchair we bought him. And Raju is like a traveler who has been to beaches and forests and now has a wonderful vacation in the hills. Her little sister Aishu has always been there for her, in good times and bad, and has been living with us for the past few months, and this trip was her first time away from home.
