This cabin sits on a private creek in the middle of a 6,000 acre estate on the North York Moors. There is nothing around you but nature and wildlife. Put on a jacket and dip your feet in the river (or wade in). The area has its own Pub, The Horseshoe Hotel, a delightful garden, outside bar, grill and a delightful farm shop. You are only six miles from Whitby and the beaches of Runswick Bay and Robin Hood’s Bay, with dog-free surfing and paddling all year round! The Coast to Coast Trail also runs through the buildings so you can jump and wander for miles. Your dog will love to cuddle on the provided bed and patiently wait for the organic treats just for him!
The view from inside and outside the Magic Workshop’s long balcony stretches to Brecon Lighthouse on a clear day. The cabin is spacious, light and airy, with beautiful colors, comfortable sofas, solid oak paneling carpets (perfect for yoga!), and a log burner to warm those chilly evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking and has a full range of equipment to tempt chefs to work. Enjoy a barbeque or potluck in your small but well-maintained yard surrounded by greenery. There are many walks nearby, enough to keep you and your dog busy for quite some time. Take yourself and your four-legged partner on a crime spree to Little Salisbury Hill for a spectacular view.
A Guide To Dog Friendly Restaurants In York
All three acres of Cwtch Forest are yours and yours alone. Whether you’re looking for a place to relax, swing in a hammock, gather around the fire, or let the kids run around the nest, it’s perfect. The entire site is off the grid, meaning no TV or WiFi, just you and the outsiders. You can try your woodworking skills with a barbecue, but there is also a gas stove if you want a quick cup of tea. Bethany, the host, will show you the way out of the forest and walk along the river.
Situated on the Devonshire coast, 15 minutes from the nearest building, The Withywindle is designed to help you do just that, blending in with its rural surroundings. Spend lazy afternoons on the outdoor terrace making pizzas for the Ooni oven, or if the fully equipped kitchen doesn’t satisfy your cravings, cook at the nearby fire pit. There are books to read and a large outdoor tub to lie in and pretend to read. You can end the day looking at the silent stars wrapped in a blanket. There is plenty to do nearby in Devon and the cottage is situated between Exmouth and the North Devon coast. Find tons of hiking trails nearby and dog-friendly beaches farther afield.
Mill Valley is off-the-grid and traditional camping, but with a bit of creative flair. You will spend your time exploring nature, often finding mud, and making new friends. When you meet guests in other places, maybe some church congregations on the top of the hill, the owners Lisa and Neil and their two dogs will happily play with them if you bring them. Beyond Mill Valley, the Cornish coast is your playground, with magical woodland walks, windy coastal paths, beaches and country pubs serving gourmet food in peaceful private villages. An acre of safe space to let your dog off the hook, with a jar of treats ready to greet your dog when you arrive!
