I’m happy to report that some of the world’s most traveled families helped put this article together. These are families who have seen so much of the world and share with their families their favorite places they want to return to.

Travel Ideas For This Year: 10 Great Places To Go With Kids
Port Douglas is home to the world’s largest reef system and oldest rainforest. What more could you ask for? Our girls love snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, jogging in the hills of the Daintree Rainforest, playing on the beautiful beaches, looking for wild crocodiles on river cruises and enjoying delicious rainforest berry ice cream.
Tip: The Daintree is easy to visit on a day trip from Cairns or Port Douglas. Here you will find a wide selection of organized tours.
Where else can you see a blue whale than Skanderbeg, swim in the icy waters of glaciers, hear continents tearing apart around you and hear the roar of Europe’s largest waterfall, all just a few hours’ drive from each other. Summer Vacation For Kids
Iceland is also very easy to explore on your own. In summer, you can drive the entire ring road or focus only on the sights of the southern coast – there is plenty to see and do even with children. If you don’t want to drive around Iceland in the winter, you can just stay in Reykjavik and go on a few day trips.

Over the past few years, Bali has become one of our favorite family destinations. There’s a perfect mix of beaches and culture, and there’s always something to do, from vacations (which always look the same) to water parks and rice paddies.
The weather is warm all year round, although the rainy season (November to March) seems to be just around the corner. The food is very good and cheap. My 10 year old son’s favorite restaurant in the world is Kuka near Jimbaran Beach.

We always try to organize activities in our hotels, such as fish feeding, anti-gravity yoga, rice planting, pottery and local walks. We are never ready to see.
Although there are many tourists every year, Bali never feels touristy. Ubud maintains a very cool, artistic vibe. There’s also a monkey forest – what kid wouldn’t want to be surrounded by monkeys?
Costa Rica is one of the most popular family travel destinations in the Americas. Family-friendly travel: Tropical climate, beaches, rainforests, plenty of sightseeing opportunities, fun adventure activities and stunning nature have all the ingredients.

The resort and town of Whitefish offers a small-town American feel that slows down a bit, but still offers a great selection of hotels, restaurants and shops.
We love the Gulf Coast for its white sand, clams, sunsets and seafood. But what makes it unique is the location – the wide beaches and small number of people give us plenty of space to relax.
But the Gulf Coast is more than just a beach. We enjoyed hiking and biking in Gulf State Park, day trips on a catamaran, paddle boarding, and sunset dinners. It’s a home away from home – on the beach!
Everything in Cape Town is absolutely incredible! Many of them start their South African adventure on the bustling V&A waterfront under the iconic Table Mountain.
