Dog Friendly Resorts California – Anush, Lola and I just got back from a short two night vacation in Napa Valley. Napa is one of our favorite local spots, but we haven’t been since having Lola! I’m always on the lookout for luxury pet-friendly resorts and I haven’t heard good things about Solage Calistoga, part of Auberge Resorts. After moving to their sister Auberge du Soleil a few years ago, we had no doubt that we would love Solage!
An hour and a half from San Francisco and a 2-hour drive from San Jose, Solage, an Auberge Resorts Collection, is located in the heart of California’s wine country. Located on 22 hectares of land surrounded by panoramic mountains and beautiful vineyards, Solage has 100 spacious and modern studios. We stayed in a beautiful Garden Terrace King Studio, which had a great interior living plan and a spacious terrace, making it perfect for pets (or kids!). All furry friends are additionally pampered with their own bed, blankets and a welcome package.

One of Napa Valley’s finest pool experiences, the historic 130-foot pool at Solage features a poolside Picobar restaurant, private cabanas, daybeds, lounge chairs and an elevated pool deck for spacious lounge areas. The pool at Solage is a destination in itself, and you can spend the whole day here!

The property is beautiful and feels like the perfect hideaway in California wine country. We enjoyed exploring the area by bike and on foot. It is conveniently located in Calistoga, close to all the attractions in and around Napa.
We didn’t go to their spa and wellness center this time, but I highly recommend it for your next visit!
