– says Harry! We’d love to welcome you to the park although it’s all dog friendly, we spent the day at Highlands End and couldn’t believe how many friends we met! A guide to the perfect dog day at Highlands End!

Daisy and I started the morning with a wonderful run and playtime in the park’s dog training area. Here we can run ahead and have a great view of the beach and it’s great fun getting ready to get some energy and a drink on the bike before heading to the park shop. And the dog handles! We were restless after our breakfast, so after some mussels, we headed to Epp Beach with a short picnic to swim under Thorncombe Lighthouse and Rock Pool. It took me a while to build up the courage to swim, but Daisy jumped off the rock! It was so nice to cool down and swim after the beach ball, we had to do it ourselves!

After the picnic we walked down the hill to the park and took a quick shower to wash off the sand and salt water. After a good night’s sleep in the late sun, Martin headed to the bar and restaurant. It’s great that most places are dog friendly, so Daisy and I can relax in the warmth with our owners and meet other dogs. We made a quick pit stop at a watering hole before grabbing some food from the bar and eating some delicious dog ice cream from the dog menu! As good as our food was, our host’s burgers and steaks looked amazing! We walked a short distance to the motor until we said hello to Jack and Matthew in the motor park and it was time for bed! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, we met lots of friends tomorrow we are going to the local area! Our friends have used the app to check out dog-friendly attractions, beaches and places to eat, so we can’t wait to explore more of Dorset! “
