Our first stop was lunch at McKenna’s Market in downtown Cambridge. This dog-friendly restaurant offers outdoor seating and we stayed warm and dry in the sun, even in March. This family market is owned by the McKenna family, who have run delicatessen and market businesses since the 1970s. The family renovated the century-old historic building, which soon became a dining destination. McKenna’s Market is known for delicious house subs and salads; We knew we were in for an extraordinary experience.

The menu is extensive and offers a variety of meals for all tastes. Chris ordered the Shrimp Basket and went with the Fiesta Chicken Salad. Hot coffee for us and the dogs. They were welcomed with fresh water and dog toys.
